Ann Arbor Independent Community Police Oversight Committee Stonewalls Brad Foerster Complaint Regarding Inadequate Police Investigation of the (still) Missing $1.4 Million from Sheriff's Sale

The City of Ann Arbor continues to re-release the report related to my earlier complaint concerning mis-documentation of the police investigation. However, after receiving the updated police report, it became clear that the police did not adequately investigate the missing $1.4 million from the Sheriff’s sale. Specifically, the police declined to obtain basic financial documentation from the Bank of Ann Arbor necessary to trace the disposition of the funds.
As a result, I filed a new second complaint with the ICPOC regarding the inadequate police investigation but I have never received a report from the ICPOC.
There is a publicly accessible database on the Ann Arbor City website that tracks FOIA requests. That database reflects that my FOIA request related to the second complaint was “granted.” As a result, it creates the appearance that the ICPOC investigated my follow-up complaint, even though no corresponding report has been provided.
The ICPOC is supposed to hold the police accountable and promote transparency.  What do you think?
