This email, dated April 11, 2017, is from attorney Michael Reynolds, counsel for Dr. Bradley Foerster and Dr. Myria Petrou, and documents communications following contact with the Ann Arbor City Attorney’s Office regarding ongoing legal proceedings.

The message reports that the City Attorney’s Office indicated it would seek sanctions in response to a complaint for superintending control filed to order the district court to open a file and accept a petition to contest the search warrant concerning the Bank of Ann Arbor accounts.

The email further states that the City Attorney’s Office characterized funds in the account as “proceeds of criminal activity” and indicated that Dr. Bradley Foerster and Dr. Myria Petrou were under consideration for potential criminal charges.

The communication also reflects that the City Attorney’s Office reported having interviewed Detective Rougeau, the investigating officer, and expressed a threatening posture in connection with the matter.
