Disbursements Reflected in Lender Accounting (2016–2018) — Dr. Paul Cronin Spreadsheet Underlying the Foerster–Petrou Promissory Notes

A contemporaneous spreadsheet maintained by Dr. Paul Cronin reflects disbursements made during 2016, 2017, and 2018 to Dr. Bradley Foerster, Dr. Myria Petrou, and third parties on their behalf.
The spreadsheet documents the sequence of advances that preceded the execution of the 2017 promissory note and were later consolidated into the April 10, 2018 promissory note.
The record shows that the promissory notes formalized advances that had already been made over time.

This post presents a spreadsheet maintained by Dr. Paul Cronin reflecting disbursements made to Dr. Bradley Foerster, Dr. Myria Petrou, and third parties on their behalf during 2016, 2017, and 2018.

The spreadsheet documents the timing and sequence of the underlying advances that preceded the execution of the 2017 promissory note and the April 10, 2018 promissory note.

During this period, Dr. Foerster and Dr. Petrou’s bank accounts were frozen, and the record reflects that payments were made to third parties on their behalf, including attorneys.

Rather than reflecting a single, forward-looking loan transaction, the record shows that funds were advanced over time and later reduced to writing through the 2017 promissory note and the April 10, 2018 promissory note.

Spreadsheet reflecting disbursements to Dr. Bradley Foerster, Dr. Myria Petrou, and third parties on their behalf.

The spreadsheet reflects disbursements made during 2016 and 2017 before the execution of the initial 2017 promissory note, and additional amounts later consolidated into the April 10, 2018 promissory note in the principal amount of $235,000.

The entries include both direct payments to Dr. Foerster and Dr. Petrou and payments made to third parties on their behalf, including attorneys.

The spreadsheet also reflects two payments of $12,500 each, issued on November 19, 2018 (Check Nos. 1613 and 1614) to Michael Reynolds and Mark Evans.

These payments are reflected in the record as settlement payments made by Dr. Paul Cronin and Dr. Aine Kelly pursuant to a court settlement between those parties (Reynolds/Evans and Cronin/Kelly).

That settlement arises from Dr. Cronin and Dr. Kelly’s role as guarantors of legal fees owed to Reynolds and Evans on behalf of Dr. Bradley Foerster and Dr. Myria Petrou.

In this sense, the promissory notes are best understood as reactive instruments, formalizing prior disbursements over time.

The repayment of these advances, and the later dispute regarding the method used to calculate interest under the April 10, 2018 promissory note, are addressed in the following post.
