Sworn Affidavits (April 10, 2019) – FBI Interview of Dr. Petrou and Dr. Foerster and Subsequent Federal Record Findings

On April 10, 2019, Dr. Myria Petrou and Dr. Bradley Foerster executed sworn affidavits describing the March 2, 2018 interview at the FBI Ann Arbor field office.

The affidavits confirm that the interview was conducted by FBI Special Agent Sue Lucas and an individual who identified himself as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), providing the name Tyson Howard.

The affidavits state that the individual identifying himself as Special Agent Tyson Howard did not display a federal badge but did provide a business card identifying himself.

The affidavits further document subsequent efforts to verify the identity of the individual identifying himself as an HHS-OIG Special Agent.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General subsequently advised that there was no employee by the name of Tyson Howard, and efforts to confirm that identity did not produce verification.

These sworn statements establish the presence of an individual representing himself as an HHS-OIG Special Agent at the March 2, 2018 FBI interview and the subsequent inability to verify that identity.
