Recorded Affidavits Address 1745 Brian Court Certificate of Redemption

On May 6, 2026, Drs. Bradley Foerster and Myria Petrou recorded affidavits with the Washtenaw County Register of Deeds concerning a Certificate of Redemption recorded August 31, 2023 relating to the property commonly known as 1745 Brian Court, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Certificate of Redemption, executed by Pamela S. Ritter on behalf of Bank of Ann Arbor, reflects receipt of $80,926.53 on December 13, 2017 as payment in full for redemption from the sheriff's sale. The Certificate further states that the interest acquired in the Sheriff's Deed had not been assigned, transferred, or encumbered.

The recorded affidavits note that the Certificate of Redemption does not identify the person or entity who made the redemption payment or on whose behalf the payment was made.

In separate affidavits recorded in Washtenaw County, both Dr. Foerster and Dr. Petrou state that they did not redeem the property, did not authorize any person or entity to redeem the property on their behalf, and did not execute any document assigning redemption rights to a third party.

Copies of the recorded affidavits and Certificate of Redemption were subsequently provided to Bank of Ann Arbor; Pamela S. Ritter, counsel for Bank of Ann Arbor and signatory to the Certificate of Redemption; Michael Reynolds, who oversaw the December 2017 sale of 1745 Brian Court; Tarick Seifeddine, the current owner of the property; and American Title Company, which handled the December 2017 closing.

The affidavits and Certificate of Redemption have been placed in the public record.
