A Supplemental Exhibit in Foerster v. Department of Justice: What Position Did Paul Cronin Take Regarding the Russia-Gate Statements?

On January 31, 2026, Dr. Bradley Foerster filed the following supplemental exhibit in Foerster v. Department of Justice, the federal Freedom of Information Act litigation seeking FBI records concerning the Russia-Gate-related statements documented throughout this archive.

The exhibit consists of a January 31, 2026 letter to Assistant United States Attorney Kimberly Stratton. Filed before the FBI produced any records in the litigation, the letter asked what position Dr. Paul Cronin had taken regarding the source of the Russia-Gate statements that he communicated to Dr. Bradley Foerster and Duaa Altaee during the summer of 2016, including whether those statements had been attributed to another individual during the FBI's investigation. No response to the letter is reflected in the documentary record presented here or in the public court record.

The filing is presented here as part of the documentary chronology preceding the FBI's interim productions in May and June 2026.
