When I renewed my U.S. Passport in 2019, the Chicago Passport Office said there was an issue as there was adoption paperwork for myself. Following in 2019, my dad the Reverend Barry Foerster freaked (at In-N-Out Burger) in front of me, Myria and the kids when I asked him if I was adopted.
