District Court Record – No Petition File Opened Following May 30, 2017 Order

The May 30, 2017 circuit court order directed the district court to open a file and accept a petition for relief in connection with the search warrant concerning the Bank of Ann Arbor account.

A review of district court records reflects that no file was opened and no petition was docketed in connection with that order.

In a subsequent court hearing before Judge Carol Kuhnke in Case No. 17-298-AS dated January 2022, the City of Ann Arbor attorney maintained that the matter was “moot” following the closure of the investigation without criminal charges.
