What Is in the FBI Document the University of Michigan Won’t Release? Dr. Foerster Files FOIA Request Concerning Alleged False Statements, False Criminal Complaints, or Perjury

The University of Michigan holds an FBI-generated document concerning Dr. Bradley Foerster and/or Dr. Myria Petrou and refuses to release any part of it. The University knows what the document concerns. Dr. Foerster and Dr. Petrou do not.

On October 28, 2026, Dr. Foerster asked whether the University holds FBI-generated records alleging that either doctor made false criminal complaints or statements to law enforcement, committed perjury, or provided false declarations or testimony.

The request asks whether records concern those allegations—not whether the allegations are true.

The October 27 post explains the withheld document and the related request concerning harassment.
