Transcript Excerpt
Maria: “If they [Brad and Myria] don’t talk to us [Maria and Petros].”
Duaa: “But you [Maria] you just said that if they [Brad and Myria] don’t talk to you that you are going to be ok, you’re not going to file charges. Or you will?”
Maria: “Just a minute. If they don’t come to speak, we will not drop the case.”
Duaa: “But you just said you don’t want them to go to jail.”
Maria: “Ok, I don’t want them to go to jail but they want to go to jail. They want to go to jail!”
Duaa: “But this is not criminal Maria.”
Maria: “What can I do? If they want to go to jail.”
Duaa: “Ok but this is why I have to clarify. Ok so basically I am going to tell them that if you don’t go you have until what you have until Monday for you to drop so when is the latest?”
Maria: “So I give the weekend. I give the weekend.”
Duaa: “Ok by this weekend if you do not hear from them you will continue and you will not look back.”
Maria: “Yes.”
Subsequent Record Sequence
Shortly following this meeting, Dr. Myria Petrou and Dr. Bradley Foerster played the same recording for Dr. Paul Cronin and Dr. Aine Kelly.
Shortly afterward, Maria Petrou’s previously referenced allegations in the Ann Arbor Police report were subsequently withdrawn, as reflected in the investigative record.
Subsequently, law enforcement records, including a search warrant, reference allegations of “extortion” made by an individual identified as “Nick”, directed at Dr. Myria Petrou and Dr. Bradley Foerster, within the investigative inquiry concerning Dr. Paul Cronin.
In sworn statements attributed to Dr. Paul Cronin, he denied knowledge of the individual identified as “Nick” and of the allegations referenced in the search warrant materials involving Dr. Myria Petrou and Dr. Bradley Foerster.
Following these sworn statements, Ann Arbor Police records reflect that earlier allegations made by Maria Petrou were reintroduced in the investigative documentation.
