Dr. Bradley Foerster and U.S. Department of Justice File Joint Status Report: FBI Reports 520 Pages Processed, 16 Pages Remain in Consultation

On September 11, 2026, Dr. Bradley Foerster, proceeding pro se, and the U.S. Department of Justice, through Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly A. Stratton, filed a Joint Status Report in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in Bradley Foerster v. Department of Justice, Civil Action No. 1:25-cv-03277-CJN.

The litigation concerns Dr. Foerster’s January 9, 2023 Freedom of Information Act request to the FBI for his FBI file, subsequently narrowed in the litigation to records regarding “Russia-Gate.”

520 Pages Processed — 16 Pages Remain

The September 11 filing provides a more specific accounting of the FBI’s processing. Although the FBI had previously reported that it completed production, the Joint Status Report states:

“FBI reports that the remaining records consist of 16 pages that are undergoing consultation with another entity that is not a party to this litigation.”

The FBI further reports that it informed Dr. Foerster that it processed 520 pages of records and audio in response to his FOIA request.

The parties jointly requested additional time “for the records undergoing consultation to be processed” and proposed another Joint Status Report on or before November 10, 2026.

Who Is the Consulting “Entity”?

The September 11 filing does not identify the entity consulting on the 16 pages or characterize it as another government agency. Instead, it uses the broader phrase “another entity that is not a party to this litigation.”

During a September 11 telephone conference concerning the Joint Status Report, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kimberly Stratton told Dr. Foerster that she was not certain whether the consulting entity was another government agency. Dr. Foerster did not press the issue.

That distinction is notable because earlier FBI correspondence had described the pending process as a consultation with another government agency.

For now, the filed record establishes that the FBI reports 520 pages of records and audio processed and 16 pages still undergoing consultation. The identity of the consulting entity and the subject matter of those 16 pages remain unknown.

U.S. Department of Justice, including the 16 pages remaining in consultation with another agency, the underlying Russia-Gate record, and the unresolved question of whether Dr. Paul Cronin has ever been asked to affirm or deny the Russia-Gate statements attributed to him.

The submission directed attention to the current litigation status, Dr. Foerster’s September 1, 2018 sworn affidavit, and the documentary record concerning his efforts to obtain Dr. Cronin’s testimony under oath.
