Dr. Bradley Foerster’s FBI File: FBI and HHS-OIG Coordination for July 10, 2018 Washington, D.C. Interview

Taken together, the four released FBI records appear to document a coordinated FBI and HHS-OIG effort during May–July 2018 involving a witness connected to management of grant funds who had relocated to the Washington, DC area.

The records include:

  • A May 14, 2018 FBI communication documenting coordination with HHS-OIG regarding plans to interview a witness connected to management of grant funds following the Foersters’ eviction from Geddes Ridge.
  • A June 27, 2018 FBI communication documenting planned travel for interviews during the week of July 9, 2018 after the witness had relocated to the Washington, DC area.
  • A July 9, 2018 FBI communication documenting receipt of a driver’s license photograph in anticipation of a joint FBI/HHS-OIG interview.
  • A released FBI FD-302 documenting interview activity conducted on that same date.

According to contemporaneous recollection, Duaa Altaee later reported that, on that same date, FBI Special Agent Sue Lucas and HHS-OIG Special Agent Tyson Howard appeared unannounced at her Washington, DC apartment building and conducted the interview in the lobby.

Despite extensive redactions, the released records document coordinated FBI and HHS-OIG travel to the Washington, DC area for witness interview activity during July 2018.
